No. Periodic site observations are visits at agreed milestones to observe general conformance of visible work with the design intent. They are not continuous inspection, and they don't replace jurisdiction-required special inspections unless explicitly included in the scope.
Turnaround targets are set with the team based on the construction schedule, and we flag reviews likely to need more time as soon as they arrive. Clear priorities from the contractor help us keep the critical path moving.
The contractor documents the condition — photos, measurements, location — and we evaluate it and respond with a disposition: accept as-is, modify, or repair, with supplemental details when needed. The evaluation becomes part of the project record.
Site observations are periodic and are not continuous inspection unless continuous inspection is explicitly included in the agreed scope of services. Special inspections required by the authority having jurisdiction are performed by the parties designated in the approved documents.
